Armagh Georgian Festival takes place in the heart of Armagh City, Ireland’s oldest city and ecclesiastical capital. Armagh is one of the best-preserved Georgian cities in Ireland, providing a beautiful setting for the festival, with its elegant Georgian architecture, historic streets and tree-lined Mall at the centre of the celebrations. Getting Here

We encourage visitors to use public transport where possible, in support of our sustainability goals.

By Car: Follow signs for Armagh via A3 from NI or Dublin. Council-operated car parks are free on Georgian Day (29 November). Please note: on street and private parking may be limited due to road closures.

By Public Transport: Trains from Dublin or Belfast to Portadown connect with free shuttles (29 November). Armagh is on a direct bus link from many areas north and south of the border. There are two main bus services; Translink (Northern Ireland) and Bus Eireann (Republic of Ireland).

Park & Ride: Services operate on Georgian Day with routes to be announced.
