MY FRIEND MISS FLINT
Sat 20 Jan | 8.00pm | £10.00 | £8.00 [conc]
When Tom Lambert, botanist and TV gardening personality receives a telephone call one morning from the Inland Revenue enquiring about unpaid tax by his public relations consultant, Joanna Flint, he can honestly say he is well and truly at a loss as he has never heard of Miss J Flint.
However, by lunchtime he knows all about her after a visit from his accountant and ex-wife Sarah, who confesses that she has invented Joanna Flint as a tax dodge five years previously. The Inland Revenue are now on to Miss Flint and the play unfolds as Tom and Sarah plot and scheme to avoid the imminent clutches of HM Tax and the consequences which exposure would entail. Schemes and plots, bluffs and double bluffs provide a highly entertaining comedy performed by one of Northern Ireland’s leading amateur dramatic groups.
This event takes place in our Studio Theatre with an unreserved, tiered seating layout.
