Get ready for the spring floral season and learn the principles of floral design with floral tutor Geraldine McCrory. Using a range of fresh spring flowers and foliage, you will learn a range of techniques including how to choose flowers and foliage that tone and match, cutting stems correctly, preparing and caring for your flowers to make them last. Experiment with contemporary designs to create the perfect floral centrepiece arrangement for your home, embellished with seasonal accessories and toning colours. Geraldine will provide an inspirational floral demonstration at the beginning of class and talk you through the do’s and dont’s of arranging flowers.
All floral materials will be provided, however participants are encouraged to bring a pair of small wire cutters and sharp secateurs and wear an apron. Suitable for beginners and learners with some floral arranging experience.
