Learn how to use a variety of cake decorating techniques to create beautiful cakes with a professional finish. Under the guidance of tutor Rosemary Hughes, you will learn to cover a 6-inch round celebration cake. Split, level and prepare your sponge cake and professionally prepare your sponge with crumb coat. Cover your cake and drum with sugar paste for a perfect finish. Rosemary will share her top tips on types of paste to use and colouring techniques. Creating your own hand-made decorations using different cutters and modelling tools, you will perfect the finishing touches to your cake.

Participants will bring their finished sponge cake home in a box supplied. All equipment and ingredients are included. Full notes will be available for you to take home. All you need to bring is an apron.
