Join Artist Caóilfíonn Murphy O’Hanlon for a wet felt making workshop exploring the beauty of Armagh’s apple orchards. You will be producing a wool painting inspired by the bloom of apple blossom flowers and their soft delicate palette of colours. Using a blend of fibres, wools and silks, Caóilfíonn will demonstrate nuno felting techniques, embroidery stitches and knot thread work for embellishing your orchard landscape further. All felting materials are provided but participants should bring two medium sized towels, small basin, basic sewing kit if you have one, scissors and lots of imagination for this day long workshop.
