The artist Paul Klee said, “A drawing is simply a line going for a walk”

This workshop is suitable for anyone who wants to loosen up their approach to drawing and mark making. The workshop will centre around a collection of 3D objects. Over the course of the morning, we will discuss the importance of observing negative space while participants try their hand at continuous line drawing and blind drawing using charcoal and chalk pastels. The aim of the morning is to introduce participants to techniques that will help to improve their observational and drawing skills.

This class is suitable for beginners and improvers, no previous drawing experience is necessary. Just bring an apron and your willingness to have a go.

All materials will be provided.
