‘The Mysterious Case of Kitsy Rainey’ is a new one man show written and performed by Mikel Murfi.

Following on from ‘The Man in the Woman’s Shoes’ and ‘I Hear You And Rejoice’, both of which enjoyed critical and popular acclaim in Ireland, London and New York, Mikel Murfi now brings his new show ‘The Mysterious Case of Kitsy Rainey’ to JHISS in Armagh.

Having married Kitsy Rainey late in life, cobbler Pat Farnon finally decides to lift the lid on a life previously lived by his wife. And all the while Pat faces down his own reckoning. Tender, heartfelt and joyously funny ‘The Mysterious Case of Kitsy Rainey’ finishes out Pat Farnon’s journey in a most unexpected way.

Boisterously funny … Murfi, the play’s author, director, and shape-shifting star, is a marvel of characterization and vocalization – The New York Times
