Pick, Dig, Eat and Chill / Pick Your Own Sunday Lunch
Crannagael House

As part of the Armagh Food & Cider Festival, Crannagael House will open its Gardens to Guests hungry for gardening tips and a delicious lunch!                          

Guests will be welcomed with a refreshing drink on arrival before a guided tour of the gardens of Crannagael House followed by a delicious lunch served in the courtyard.                                  

Crannagael House as featured the recent Chronicles of Armagh television programme is a grade 2 listed Georgian house and birthplace of the first Armagh Bramley Apple Seedling. It is still owned and occupied by the Nicholson family.  The gardens and orchards are beautifully presented and full of interesting vegetables, fruits, roots and leaves.                       

John & Jane Nicholson will welcome you to their home & gardens. They will personally guide each group around, passing on their knowledge and the history of Crannagael House in their own inimitable, friendly and welcoming manner.                              

This will be followed by a delicious lunch prepared by Gareth & Kasia Reid from 4 Vicars Catering. Lunch will be prepared using vegetables, fruits picked by the guests just a couple of minutes ago. A truly fresh plot to plate experience!                                   

Guests will be encouraged to muck in with digging veg and spuds, picking roots and shoots and getting their hands mucky! Welly boots recommended!!                                    

This event takes place on Sunday 8th September 2024, guests arrive 12pm, garden tour commences 12.15pm, lunch served 1.45pm, guests finished at 3pm.  Price £40pp including welcome drink, 3 course lunch, choice of drink and lots of fun.
