What's On

Saturday 22 November | 10am – 4pm | £45
Join professional printmaker Joanne Fitzpatrick for a hands-on dry point printmaking workshop where you’ll learn the basics of this expressive intaglio technique.
Using a sharp needle, you’ll carve your own design into a plastic plate to create a rich, velvety line quality unique to dry point. Unlike traditional etching, this process involves no acids, just direct mark-making and inking.
Bring an image you’d like to work from, and you will be guided through transferring it onto your plate, inking it up, and printing it using a press. You will go home with a range of art prints ready for framing.
This workshop is perfect for beginners and those curious about printmaking. All materials provided except your reference image. Please bring an apron, old shirt to protect clothing from inks.
