I would be moved by an email winking out at me towards the end of last year. Maybe, because it had summed up similar other ones which arrived the same week.

“You're gallivanting all over the world with your music, and fair play to you and all, but when are you going to come round our way?”

I blinked back for a moment and winked into myself.

Then I rang Gerry Logue.

“Remember we were talking about me doing a gig in every county on the island. I think the time has come”

Tommy Sands, Every County on the Island, from Down to Cork, either side and in-between… the time has indeed come.

Tommy will share his songs, yarns and experiences from a lifetime of making music and promoting peace during his ‘Every County on the Island Tour’.

This event will take place in our studio theatre with an unreserved, tiered seating layout.
