Today, it thrives primarily in Armagh and Cork, where it remains a beloved local pastime. Traditionally played on quiet country roads of rural Armagh, spectators gather to watch as players hurl an iron bowling ball, locally known as a “bullet” at speeds of up to 80 miles an hour. The rules state that whoever reaches the end of the course with the least throws wins!
