Having exhibited in many wonderful venues in Armagh City and beyond, the members of Armagh Art club are delighted and honoured to exhibit at Art on the Rails as part of the 7 Hills Blues Festival 2026.

This outdoor exhibition on the railings between the library and The Market Place Theatre,  is well worth a visit, with many original paintings on display and over 16 individual artists taking part. A great display of framed and unframed, original and prints are on sale from £20 upwards. There are some limited edition prints also.

The purpose of the Armagh Art Club is “Celebrating Local Artists and their work in the heart of Armagh.” Members meet on the first and third Saturday of every month and they are currently based in their room at Armagh Harp’s clubhouse. Sessions are never dull, each member learning something from the other. With expert tutors the club members have progressed in the techniques and theory of Art.  The Club hosts a lively Facebook page to keep members updated and can be contacted by private messaging on it.

The Art on the Rails exhibition, part of the annual 7Hills Blues Festival, is a gathering of original, interesting and beautiful work. Come along enjoy the works, purchase a gift or get a treat for yourself. You might be surprised at the excellence you find there.
