Tribute to John Mayall & His Bluesbreakers
Marketplace Theatre
028 3752 1821

Sat 19 Sept | 8pm | £16

In 1966, John Mayall and his band, The Bluesbreakers, released their debut studio album which became known as ‘The Beano Album’. The album pioneered a guitar-dominated UK blues rock sound and helped launch the careers of the legendary guitarist Eric Clapton and others. The John Mayall Project celebrates the 60th anniversary of this iconic album and is delighted to bring this fabulous collection of songs to The Market Place Theatre together with a selection of other great British blues and blues rock songs from many of the great guitarists who shared the stage with Mayall over the years.
This event will take place in our studio theatre with an unreserved, cabaret-style layout.
