 Join us in wishing the happy couple, their families, friends and legal representatives at this marriage celebration.Georgian weddings were legally required to be morning affairs. Affluent guests would gather around 10:00 a.m. for a hearty late-morning meal of tea, hot chocolate, cold meats (like tongue and ham), fresh breads, hot rolls, and heavy cakes (like plum and pound cake), before sending the couple off on their honeymoon by early afternoon. 

 In this event, you will join in the lives of wealthy Georgian society so expect warm buttered toast, eggs flavoured with spices, pies, sweetmeats and fruit cake. Meet and chat with our Georgian cook as she prepares the Wedding Breakfast fayre.
