Meet a Georgian gentleman and take home a timeless keepsake.
Visit Armagh Robinson Library for an afternoon of Georgian-inspired activities and characters.
Portrait silhouettes, or “shades”, were a fashionable craze in Georgian society and were often exchanged as treasured mementoes. Drop in and have your individual or family silhouette expertly cut, creating a unique souvenir of your visit.
Also in attendance throughout the afternoon will be Sir Thomas Robinson, 1st Baronet of Rokeby, the elder brother of Archbishop Robinson. A noted politician, architect, collector and former Governor of Barbados, Sir Thomas was renowned for his colourful personality and remarkable achievements.
