Born in Co Armagh to an Irish Father and an Italian Mother, Susan Lynch is one of Northern Ireland’s leading actors, widely known for her work in television – from ‘Cracker’ to ‘Apple Tree Yard’ and ‘Happy Valley’ – and film, including the lead role in Pat Murphy’s 2000 film ‘Nora’, about the life of Nora Joyce.
Lynch has carved an admirable reputation internationally as a screen and television actor. A three time IFTA winner, her career has seen her recently star in gritty film drama ‘Bad Day For the Cut’. During this year’s John O’Connor Writing School Susan will join playwright and screenwriter Daragh Carville for a conversation about her life and career. Book early to avoid disappointment.
