For those who are enthused about capturing amazing shots, there are plenty of locations across the destination which offer breathtaking and amazing backdrops. Here are some of our thoughts but tag us using #VisitArmagh if you have a photo worthy shot, you think which beats our recommendations:

Armagh Observatory and Planetarium – in the green grounds surrounding the site, find a scale model of the universe and also the city skyline of Armagh. See the Cathedrals and also the Archbishop’s Palace.

The surrounding countryside of which we are proud of – from city streets to village lanes, the countryside across the destination offers photo opportunities galore. A field of pumpkins, vista of golden coloured trees, animals in fields, rivers, streams and more are definitely ones worth the #VisitArmagh.

Gosford Forest Park offers a vista of golden coloured trees and opportunities for photo shots of the mighty deer in their space at the park. The Drumleck river flows through the park and makes for spectacular shots.

Armagh City Centre with its public art and beautiful Georgian buildings is an urban photographer’s dream.  Enjoy the hidden details in the buildings, with balance and symmetry. Don’t forget the Angels and Gargoyles carefully tucked away in hidden spaces in the city.

For #instafoodie users, there are plenty of food locations across the destination to get your fix and share mouthwatering food images. Try Groucho’s in Richhill, Uluru in Armagh, Salt Kitchen, Banbridge, Blend X Batch, On the Hoof, The Craic’d Pot for starters and more.

Lurgan Park is a large green space in the centre of Lurgan. It is a beautiful spot, with views in its own right such as the Colebrooke fountain and also the neighbouring Brownlow Castle with its dramatic architecture.

For dramatic architecture, why not add Brownlow Castle with its calendar house features or The Argory, considered a New Classical masterpiece to your list?

Oxford Island at Lough Neagh Discovery Centre offers scenic vistas of waterscapes and also landscapes. Watch out for bird life and wildlife and autumn colours.

The Game of Thrones Studio Tour with its dramatic scenery- props and sets is one for photo lovers. Whether a thronie or not, there is plenty at the home of Game of Thrones to interest all at the tour with SX, make up, set building and costume design interaction to uncover.
