From flax fields to fabric, The Dromore Linen Festival celebrates the story of Dromore’s linen and weaving heritage, through craft, connection, and community pride.

Thursday 1 October | 7-8.30pm

The Magills of Meeting Street, a Talk by National Museums NI Curator Victoria Millar

The Bowling Pavillion, Dromore Community Centre

Friday 2 October | 6-8pm

Linen Heritage Walk from the Tow Hall: Guided Dromore Linen Trail with David Weir

Free event, booking required

 

Saturday 3 October | 10am – 3pm

Linen skills and craft day on Town Square

  • Flax fibre processing demonstrations
  • NI Hemp Association Fibre Demonstrations
  • Kids Flax Craft Corner and display of local children linen bunting
  • Historical Dromore heritage stand – Explore Dromore’s local history

Dromore’s Linen Heritage Gallery at The Belfast Bow Company, The Bank Building

Family activities in the Town Hall:
