Enjoy a day of creativity, good food and a taste of locally brewed cider in the heart of one of Co Armagh’s beautiful orchards. Whether you are a complete beginner, a budding artist or a seasoned painter, this workshop presents a unique opportunity for you to get out into the orchards and enjoy the challenge of producing your own creative response to the trees, the apples and the wider landscape. Professional artist Deborah Malcolmson will guide and support you through the process of exploring line, colour and form through a range of media as we investigate the orchard and its produce. Start the day with a tour of the orchard and cider factory, followed by setting up easels outside to begin work. Later, take shelter in the barn to create still-life studies of some of Armagh’s famous apples. All materials and equipment are provided and the ticket price includes morning coffee, lunch and afternoon tea.
