General Information regarding Armagh Georgian Festival 2025
Georgian Festival is a series of unique experiences, which celebrate the many different aspects of Georgian Armagh including buildings, history and heritage. We work closely and in partnership with local attractions, businesses and venues to deliver the events. Your safety is our number one priority.
TICKETS CANNOT BE EXCHANGED OR REFUNDED – Once purchased, your ticket is your property. Armagh Georgian Festival cannot refund its value to you, nor exchange it for any other ticket under any circumstances. Where an event goes ahead, we accept no responsibility for tickets that are unable to be used due to circumstances outside of our control, for example bad weather and transport difficulties.

We also encourage our visitors to come on foot or make use of public transport as far as possible. PARKING INFORMATION:
Park and Ride locations: Elim Church, Armagh / Navan Centre / Palace Demesne / Richhill / Portadown. Please use city centre car parks, which are free of charge for Georgian. All city centre car parks have accessible parking spaces, no additional accessible spaces will be available for the events. Please see car park map using this link – https://bit.ly/3rtGoHG
ROAD CLOSURE INFORMATION:
Please note that there will be road closures in place throughout Armagh from Friday 28th to Sunday 30th November during the following times at the listed locations:
- Cathedral Close, from junction of Abbey Street, continuing into Castle Street to junction of Upper Irish Street, closed on Friday 28th November and on Saturday 29th November from 3.00pm until 9.00pm each day. Council will, however, facilitate residents who need access during these hours. There will be no traffic allowed in the area at the top of Market Square i.e. from Castle Tower Restaurant to just above the entrance to the Market Place Service Yard.
- Market Street through to Upper English Street junction with Russell Street closed Friday 28th November from 3.00pm until Sunday 30th November at 7:00pm. Some deliveries may be facilitated on request.
- Upper English Street from junction of Russell Street to entrance of St. Patrick’s Trian/Market Place Theatre Car Park Closed on Friday 28th November at 5.30pm until Sunday 30th November at 01:00am. Some deliveries may be facilitated on request.
- To allow access to the St. Patrick’s Trian/Market Place Theatre Car Park on Upper English Street during its opening hours (9.00am – 8.30pm) on Saturday 29th November, a temporary reversal of one way traffic flow’ from the Junction of College Hill/Upper English Street, turning left from College Hill onto Upper English Street to the St. Patrick’s Trian/Market Place Theatre Car Park (car-park approx. 30 metres from the junction of College Hill/Upper English Street)
- Top of Jenny’s Row Closed on Friday 28th November at 3.00pm until Sunday 30th November at 7:00pm.
- Russell Street Closed on Friday 28th November at 5.30pm until Sunday 30th November at 01:00am. Some deliveries may be facilitated on request.
- Mall East lane closure (Lane next to Mall green) traffic enter from College Hill end, one way from Friday 28th November at 5.30pm until Sunday 30th November at 01:00am.
- Scotch Street, Thomas Street and Ogle Street will be closed on Friday 28th November at 6.00pm until Sunday 30th November at 01:00am
When you arrive at the event:
Please follow the information and directional signage and obey any instructions or guidance given by staff and stewards, or over the PA system. This will help you get to where you need to be in the safest and most effective way.
