The Riverside Restaurant is a warm and welcoming restaurant for all the family, located on the beauitful grounds at Portadown Club. Coming from the fishing village of Portaferry in Co. Down, Chef Stephen Anderson’s love of freshly caught fish from Strangford Lough, shows through in the dishes he produces for his customers. With his knowledge of food, Stephen likes to surprise his customers with dishes from all parts of the world, particularly France, Spain, Thailand, Italy and Korea.
 
Stephen has been with Portadown Golf Club since 2004 and has steadily built the business up to a successfully run restaurant catering for Intimate Dinners, Christening Lunches, Wedding Receptions to functions for over 200 people. An excellent bistro menu is served daily and the restaurant is renowned for its excellent Sunday lunch.
Stephen is a former chef of the Tate Gallery in London and has worked with chefs such as Paul Rankin and the late Robbie Millar. Signature dishes include – Green Lip Mussels with Parsley and Garlic Butter and Sauteed Fillets of Sea Bass with a Mussel and Cockle Risotto.

Tuesday - Friday 12noon to 9pm
Saturday 11am to 9.30pm
Sunday 11am to 7pm.
