Craftswirl @ Armagh Visitor Information Centre are delighted to welcome this exhibition of work by local artist Máiréad Duffy from Middletown in County Armagh.
Having studied at The University of Leeds, Máiréad went on to become an Art and Textiles teacher. Her career has seen her live and work in London and Kuwait in the Middle East where she was Head of Art and Design. These years away were a huge influence in her life and influenced her work. It was in Kuwait that Máiréad carried out privately commissioned work alongside her teaching.
Returning to Ireland in 2004, Máiréad secured a job as Coordinator of Art and Design at Southern Regional College in Armagh.
This wonderful exhibition is not to be missed, all pieces are for sale and can be seen during January and February 2019.
Our opening times are 9.00am – 5.00pm Monday to Saturday.
