This reference library houses a wide range of material on all aspects of Irish life and learning from the earliest times to the present day.

Armagh: A Place Of Literary Giants & Experiences

One of the main assets of the Irish and Local Studies Library is a wide range of local newspapers as well as specialist papers such as the women’s suffrage paper.  A full list of newspaper holding is available on request.  The library has a fine collection of maps including estate maps, journals/periodicals and directories.  Ancestry and online resources are available free in the library.

Opening Hours: Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri – 10am-5pm | Wed 1pm-8pm | Saturday – Closed
