Plans for Statues: Showing the Process
An exhibition created by Orlaith Cullinaine
6th May – 9th June 2023
An exhibition by Armagh born artist Orlaith Cullinaine which provides a glimpse into the processes surrounding a finished piece. This exhibition showcases the evolution of a few lines in charcoal through to a solidified form in bronze. Each stage on show reinforcing an idea is always moving, mutating, dodging around, inhabiting one form then another untill eventually it comes to rest – solidified and permanent, cast in bronze.
This exhibition is an opportunity to gain a greater understanding of the stages involved in creating a piece of art.
Admission is free at Armagh County Museum
Open Mon-Fri 10 am – 5pm & Sat 10am – 4pm
