What's On

Solstice Sound Journey under the Stars – Armagh Planetarium Dome
Armagh Observatory and Planetarium
5-7pm

Hosted by the The Sound Healing Spa, this is an immersive sound experience beneath the planetarium dome at Armagh, blending live sound with expansive cosmic imagery.

Sound Journey under the Stars

A carefully curated Sound for Wellbeing experience, designed for the immersive environment of the planetarium dome.

Taking place close to the Summer Solstice, this experience offers a moment to pause, reflect, and reconnect beneath the night sky.

Blending live sound with full-dome cosmic visuals, Sound Journey Under the Stars invites you into a space of rest, stillness, and perspective, where sound, space, and imagery come together to create a deeply immersive and calming environment.

Reclining within the dome, you are guided through a layered soundscape composed and delivered live by Tessa Ann. Voice, resonant instruments, and subtle electronic elements are woven together to support a gentle unfolding of sound and atmosphere.

With minimal guidance, the focus remains on direct experience. Rather than following a fixed narrative, this experience offers an open and reflective space where you can engage in your own way.

Designed to work in harmony with the unique acoustics and visual environment of the dome, this is an opportunity to experience sound and space in a way that is both immersive and restorative.
