Vestiges can be a small part of something larger, where that small something becomes more important than what existed originally. It is not the remains, but the remainder or the trace of what once was that becomes notable. A fragment of what is gone and past. The exploration of paint residue on a surface, art created from remnants and remainders, narratives inspired by memory, fading customs and traditions, people and places. The exhibition promises to be full of colour and texture, evoke memories of place and time, using a rich variety of media. Shore Collective studio is based in Lurgan, Co Armagh.
