To celebrate National Apple Day and the apple harvest, the Navan Centre & Fort's award-winning Education and Living History teams invite you to join them on an exploration of the use of this wonderful local product.
Discover how to make apple juice with our vintage apple press and help the Georgian servant prepare apple potato bread. In our workshop, learn about the various uses of the apple and follow its journey from source to supermarket, via interactive storytelling. Children will also be invited to participate in a few apple games, prevalent in the Georgian era (*All games will follow COVID-19 protocols).
