Introduction to Nature Printing

This workshop draws upon the historical process of printing known as ‘Nature Printing’, using natural plant material to create unique artworks. This workshop, facilitated by local artist Ruth Osborne, incorporates fresh and dried foliage, and the associated folklore and symbolism of plants, to create artworks that connect to the local landscape through expressive marks and patterns. This half-day workshop includes printing onto papers and fabric, including Irish Linen, and covers a range of hand-printing processes using both hand-printing and a printing press.

All other materials will be provided.
