Celebrate the ancient festival of Lughnasa with this unique workshop led by designer and textile artist, Eimear Monaghan on 11th August from 10:00am-1:00pm. Create your own unique piece of embroidery, symbolising the harvest and the triumph of light over darkness. Each stitch will be a tribute to the bountiful harvest as you transform simple threads into your own stunning work of art. The workshop is suitable for all abilities as expert tuition is provided, along with all of the materials you will need.

Eimear studied at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London and has years of experience in the creation of costumes and puppetry for film, TV, live theatre and events.

Her film and TV credits include Game of Thrones, The Northman and School for Good and Evil.
