This workshop is a rare opportunity to draw or paint a dancer at work as she improvises gesture and movement.

Working with a moving figure creates an interesting challenge and some truly amazing artworks.

The workshop is guided by visual artist Orlaith Cullinane (and a live performer) whose work in drawing and sculpture focuses on the body, meaningful and expressive gesture and movement.

Basic materials are supplied. Please feel free to bring any additional drawing materials of your choice.

Orlaith’s work features in a new exhibition ‘Shed’ a visual art show by Bridge Street Studios, Dundalk which can be viewed in the Gallery 17 May – 6 July.
