At The Market Place, we’re as daft about our pets as we are about the shows we host. We’re delighted to introduce occasional dog-friendly film screenings so you can bring your well-behaved pooch along so they don’t miss the fun.

Ever wonder what your pets do when you’re not at home?

From the creators of the blockbuster Despicable Me franchise comes the animated feature film that finally answers the question: what do your pets do when you’re not home? When their owners leave for the day, pets from the building gossip with their friends, satisfy their sweet tooths, and throw outrageous parties. But when a pampered terrier and his unruly new “roommate” from the pound get lost in the urban jungle of New York City, they must put aside their differences to survive the epic journey back home.

There is a limited number of dogs that we can facilitate, and we can only permit one dog per adult attending. We will provide bowls of water, blankets to cover seats or for lying on the floor. We request that dogs remain on leads throughout the duration of the film – feel free to bring them outside at any point. Please bring any toys that may make your dog more comfortable, and we kindly ask that owners clean up after their dogs if they create a mess, with the cleaning products provided.

This event will take place in our studio theatre with an unreserved, cabaret-style seating layout. Please note that the sound levels for the film will be lowered to allow for our canine audience!
