As an independent coffee shop/kitchen, Blend X Batch blend their own locally roasted coffee and make a range of sweet and healthy treats and also special cocktails if its that time of day! Why not drop in after a walk around Solitude Park and a browse in the local independent stores?
In the County Armagh countryside, On the Hoof can be found outside Richhill. Whilst BBQ and pizza is a big main stay of their menu (and rightly so) scones with homemade jam and coffee and also great any Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday mornings.
Dante’s Deli at The Palace is the new kid on the block. Open Tuesday to Sunday with late dining at the weekend, the menu offers brunch, snacks and more substantial meals. In the setting of the Archbishop’s Palace tie in a walk or burn off the energy in the playpark afterwards!
If it’s a yummy scone that you would like, Navan Centre and Fort is definitely one for the list. The scones are award winning; they are large and delish with many varieties and flavours to try. Recommendation is go early and taste fresh from the oven (with a walk to the Fort as part of the visit, before or after!)
