In this beginner’s class, participants will create a unique handkerchief vase under the guidance of fused glass artist Sarah Walsh.

The workshop covers the basics of glass cutting and using colourful frits to design a 25cm x 25cm glass panel, which will be fired and shaped into a contemporary vase.

Sarah will demonstrate glass-cutting tools and teach safety techniques. Participants can create their own unique landscape and are encouraged to bring images for inspiration. 

All tools and safety equipment provided. Please wear suitable clothing and flat, closed-toe shoes. Finished works will be taken back to Sarah’s studio for firing, before being returned to the venue for collection.
