Imbolc – Snowdrop Art Workshop
Navan Centre & Fort
028 3752 9644

Celebrate the festival of Imbolc and the first signs of Spring with our Snowdrop Art Workshop. Join us for a creative experience led by Alison Walker Art, as she guides you through the process of painting your own seasonal floral greetings card in watercolour. The workshop is suitable for beginners as well as those with some experience. Drawing and watercolour techniques will be covered and all materials will be provided.

In the Celtic tradition, the Snowdrop flower is a symbol of the courage to face the unknown and the journey through darkness into light, the perfect symbol of hope, renewal and the awakening of the earth after its Winter slumber. Immerse yourself in the calming energy of Imbolc and awaken your inner artist, leaving with a beautiful, unique artwork of your own to treasure.

Alison teaches botanical painting classes and workshops on a regular basis and particularly enjoys guiding beginners in this lovely art form. She is a graduate of the Belfast School of Art and a member of the Irish Society of Botanical Artists.
