Make and design your own unique hand-built ceramic jug, complete with impressed designs and hand painted colours on a beautiful cream clay body. Tutor Andrea will take you step-by-step through the process of rolling, shaping and decorating your summer themed jug using a range of clay tools and stamps to build your design. You will learn how to shape the spout and attach the handle of the jug to ensure the perfect pour. Once you’ve decorated your jug you will apply underglaze colour directly to the clay.

This workshop is ideal for beginners or those with little clay experience.

Your completed jug will be taken back to Andrea’s studio to dry, glaze and double fire in the kiln. Ceramics will be returned to the venue approximately two weeks later.

PLEASE NOTE: Completed ceramic jugs will not be returned by post. Collection only from the venue.

All materials are supplied. Participants should wear an old shirt or apron.
