Silk Painting

Join local artist, Deborah Malcomson for a Silk Painting Workshop.

During the workshop, Deborah will guide you through the techniques required to paint, using silk fabric as a canvas and dyes to create intricate and beautiful designs. You will use two methods including blending and layering the ink on stretched silk on a frame and silk ‘gutta resist’ to create a vibrant suncatcher.

The workshop is suitable for beginners and all materials will be provided.
