‘How Do I Love Thee? Let Me Count The Ways…’ An L-O-V-E Poetry Workshop with Niamh McNally
The Market Place Theatre and Arts Centre
03300561025

Saturday 22 November | 10am – 1pm | £30

From the first poem written until today, one theme seems to reign supreme, and that is… the LOVE poem! Love poems come in many forms – from the classic 14-line sonnet to ballads, elegy, odes, experimental poetry, and beyond!

Love poems continue to fascinate us, and in this workshop, we will delve into love poetry across the years, with all types of love and the countless ways writers express it. We will use this as inspiration to write our own love poems that are not just for Valentine’s Day…

Niamh McNally is a published poet based in Belfast.
