Autumn is a time for new experiences, and you can most definitely experience and learn across the destination this season.

For those who feel like learning and trying something new, why not check out the list of workshops at The Market Place Theatre? The programme is chockfull of workshops – autumn style wreaths, folk art embroidery, ceramic snowmen and more besides.

Celebrating apples and harvest time, the Granny’s Griddle bread and the orchard experience with tastings tours at Long Meadow Cider offer a chance to learn more about life in the orchard followed by tasting of delicious apple-based products – apple tart, cider, apple juices.

Harvest celebrations come to the fore at the Apple Harvest Fayre in Richhill at the end of October. The day celebrates the apple harvest and PGI status of the Bramley Apple. Experience great tastes with over 50 artisan food stalls, music and crafts.

As part of the season, Halloween fun is the name of the game. Halloween Ghost Tours take place in Armagh city with a range of dates from 25-28 October. For those who wish to combine food and a very new experience, why not try Dining in the Dark on 25 October? Dining in the dark will challenge you to consider a delicious 3 course meal in a new way, blindfolded to let your other senses enjoy the taste of your meal.

Dine after Dark and tour takes place at The Game of Thrones Studio Tour from 31 October – 2 November and offers an autumnal menu matched to scenes and storylines from the world’s most successful TV show. Bring your family and friends for a night with a difference.
