Purpose and lawful basis for processing
Our purpose for processing your personal data (name and email address) is to allow entry to a competition.
The lawful basis we are relying on to process your personal data is Article 6 (1) (a) of the UK GDPR, which allows us to process personal data when the individual has given clear consent for us to process their personal data for a specific purpose.
What we need
In this competition, you are asked to provide your email address should you wish to enter.
What we do with it
If you agree to your email address being added to the Visit Armagh mailing list for updates on upcoming events etc, we will transfer your email address and name. If you agree to your email address and name being passed to our trade partners from the event, we will forward this to them. The organisations mentioned will be the only external organisations who will receive this information. Should you not wish to be included in these mailing lists, we will delete your name and email address after the winner has been declared, in and around 13^th February 2023.

Do we use any data processors?
Armagh Banbridge Craigavon Council is the Data Controller, WordPress is the Data Processor and Mailchimp which hosts the ezine platform, is a Sub-processor.
Do we transfer data overseas?
Any responses submitted by you to our engagement and consultation activities are processed on our behalf by WordPress in their secure data centres and equally with Mailchimp on transfer to the ezine provider.
