Crannagael Supper Club with Judith Boyle and MacIvors Cider
Crannagael House

Friday 4th September 2026 | 7.00 pm – 10.30 pm | £80

Join us for an exclusive Supper Club at Crannagael House, the home of John & Jane Nicholson, whose ancestors planted the very first Bramley Apple seedling in County Armagh. Experience an unforgettable evening celebrating exceptional local food and award-winning cider, with every course thoughtfully paired with selections from MacIvors Cider.  We will be joined on the evening by one of Ireland’s leading Food Champions, Judith Boyle—also known as “the Scientist with a Pub”—is a fifth-generation publican working in her family bar and off-licence in Kildare Town. She is passionate about showcasing the richness of the local drinks industry to both residents and visitors, drawing on her expertise in the sensory evaluation of beverages.

Guiding the evening alongside Judith Boyle is MacIvors producer Greg MacNeice, sharing the stories, heritage, and craft behind each pairing. With the cider produced just a few hundred yards from orchards surrounding Crannagael House, this promises to be one of the most authentic local food experiences imaginable. The menu, expertly created by Olive & Vine from Armagh, will showcase the very best seasonal ingredients, including outstanding produce grown on the Crannagael estate itself. The menu has many highlights: Canapes – Banagher Bold Choux au Craqline, Whiskey Cured Salmon, Fennel, Armagh Apple Caviar, Black Truffle Pomme Souffle, Malt Vinegar. Main – Ecclesgreen Glazed Pork composed of Cured & Confit Rolled Pork Belly, Crannagael House Bramley Apple, Glazed Cheek, Mc Ivors Cider Pickled Radish, Pomme Puree, Chive, Caper & Parsley Jus Gras. Dessert – Crannagael House Apple Tart Tatin, Muscovado & Mc Ivors Cider Caramel, Madagascan Vanilla & Honey Clotted Cream – A true celebration of flavour, craftsmanship, and local provenance — this is a Supper Club not to be missed.
