‘Don’t Box Me In Ltd’ is a project based in the Tommy Makem Arts and Community Centre Keady, where young people with and without disabilities come together to express their feelings. They learn to care for and understand one another and develop social skills, confidence and resilience. To facilitate equality, communication, and participation, all activities are presented using a combination of artistic mediums including music, drama, art, dance and storytelling. During the Winter of 2023-2024 the young people examined their own and each other’s feelings and emotions. These are depicted in some very creative art pieces in this group exhibition.
