One thing we aren’t short of is proud locals who understand the uniqueness of the area and are happy to share the stories of this beautiful Georgian city embedded in an ancient rural landscape.

Funded by Armagh City Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council, the Armagh Ambassador Programme worked with twenty-five passionate individuals between February and March 2016 and increased their knowledge about the range of tourist attractions in Armagh.

Visit Armagh is delighted with the ability of these local ambassadors to immerse visitors in the history, heritage and active culture of this special place, ensuring a thought provoking, entertaining and relaxing stay.
