The Rink, Portadown is for those who want to have fun on four wheels! The centre can cater for beginners or those who more adventurous and feel the need for speed. If you don’t have skates, don’t worry as you can hire them from the venue. There’s no age limit and all you need is to be ready to give it a whirl. You need to book your slot in advance but its easy to do so by clicking here.

Snow Tubing, Craigavon Golf and Ski Centre

Grab some gloves (which are a must) and be prepared to burn some energy as you whizz down the slopes in a snowtube. Excellent fun for all the family and even more fun when you link the tubes together and slide down together. Various slots are available but booking online is essential.

South Lake Leisure Centre
Splashing good fun for everyone with  swimming in a 50-metre pool and a kids splash pool with 3 slides. For those who prefer drier activities then there is soft play available, which is suitable for children aged 7 and under. A sensory room is also available. Booking recommended.

Armagh Planetarium

To infinity and beyond at Armagh Planetarium. Shoot for the stars over half term and be wowed by the Ultimate Bubble Show which takes place on 16 and 17 February. Bubble magic, conjuring acts, circus show acts – what more do you need at half term? Book your bubble slot now.

Navan Centre and Fort is definitely worth a visit. Get the steps climbing to the top of the fort. Breathe in fresh air (and if the clouds have gone) the view of far and wide. Imagine the people who have been here before you and the history and heritage that has passed over this site. Booking is recommended.

Watch out for signs that spring is around the corner. A visit to the coffee shop, Ancient Grounds is also recommended for a tasty treat or filling lunch.

Infinity Adventure Park
Conveniently located off the A1. Infinity Adventure Park is great for indoor fun for wanna be Ninja’s. Bounce off 29 trampolines, monkey bars, parallel beams. Plenty of room to bounce and have fun. Book online.

Great outdoors

There are plenty of green spaces to get out and enjoy. Gosford Forest Park, Loughgall Forest Park, Solitude Park (skate park), Dromore Viaduct, Craigavon Lakes. Choice is yours and the list is endless. Explore nature this half term.
