This workshop is suitable for complete beginners and provides an introduction to modern calligraphy. You will learn how to use a pointed nib and ink, working through warm-up exercises, practising letterforms and joining up letters.

The workshop includes a talk on how to create different modern calligraphy styles and you will finish by making a calligraphy piece with the help of a unique template.

All materials are included in the workshop. Your kit will include a penholder, a pointed nib, black ink, coloured paints and original worksheets & templates.
