Alison Walker Botanical Art Workshop
Navan Centre & Fort
028 3752 9644

Come and join botanical artist Alison Walker as she guides you in the art of creating lifelike watercolour paintings of seasonal wild flowers. The workshop, taking place from 10:30am-3:30pm, will begin with an introduction to observational drawing and how it can be used to create a botanically accurate image. We will then explore how watercolour can be used to bring our drawings to life. This workshop is suitable for beginners and those with some experience. Seasonal flowers will be available and all materials will be provided. Lunch is also included.

Alison is a botanical artist based in Co. Antrim. She teaches botanical painting classes and workshops on a regular basis and particularly enjoys guiding beginners in this lovely art form. She is a graduate of the Belfast School of Art and a member of the Irish Society of Botanical Artists.
