Discover the rich tapestry of the Celtic year with our first expert speaker, Seán Fitzgerald, who will guide you through the “Ritual practices within the Irish seasonal cycle of the year”. Seán, a renowned Cork illustrator and writer, has previous works including “The Last Battle of Moytura” and “Lugh na Bua – Lugh the Deliverer,” two extensively illustrated books on Irish myths and folklore which were well-received internationally. His talk will include illustrations of gods and goddesses and photographs of traditions, bringing to life the seasonal customs and the festivals of the Celtic Calendar.

Our second expert speaker, Helen Bel Logue is a professionally trained, psychological astrologer, using the modern western approach. She will dive into the astrological significance of this Equinox both generally, in terms of what it represents every year, but also the specifics to this particular year. In addition to exploring the Equinox we will highlight the significant lunar and solar eclipses of 2024. Discover the powerful energies these eclipses bring and how they can be harnessed for transformation and growth. Gain insights into how these eclipses align with the themes of balance and change inherent in the Equinox and what they mean for you personally and globally.

Throughout the day, local craft providers will be onsite including Parklane Rocks, crystal specialist.

Seán Fitzgerald

Sean has also documented folklore and mythology in two illustrated books, “Fádo” and “Féirín Feasa.” Seán’s dedication to preserving and sharing Irish traditions has been featured on RTÉ television and in various publications, including the Irish Examiner, Pagan Ireland magazine, Myth and Lore, Keltia Magazine, and Fiddler’s Green Peculiar Parish Magazine.  Seán is currently wrapping up a heavily illustrated study of ancient Irish rituals that draws from folk traditions and Old and Middle Irish texts to reveal the origins and significance of ritual practices within the seasonal cycle of the year.

Helen Bel Logue

Bel was introduced to Astrology as a child, and it has been part of her life ever since. She has been reading charts for people for over two decades, with both a local and international client base. She trained at the London School of Astrology, completing the Diploma course in 2005. She also holds a Degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy from the University of Ulster. Her interest is in how Astrology can help us get in touch with who we truly are, and how it can aid our personal, and collective development.
