What's On

4th May | 10:00am – 1:00pm
Step into the spirit of renewal and growth this Beltaine, a time when the earth awakens and life begins anew. Join us for a creative Beltaine Embroidery Experience, where you’ll craft your own 8-inch embroidery hoop, inspired by the delicate beauty of the dandelion – an enduring symbol of transformation and new beginnings.
What to Expect:
• Eimear Fox, a designer and textile artist from County Down with an impressive background in film and TV, including credits in Game of Thrones, The Northman, and School for Good & Evil, will lead you through the process of creating your own stunning dandelion embroidery, using simple yet effective stitches to bring this symbolic flower to life.
• Nature-Inspired Creativity: Feel the connection between nature’s cycles and your own creative journey as you stitch a beautiful dandelion. The soft, delicate texture of the flower is brought to life through thread, allowing you to express your personal story of renewal.
All materials are provided, so simply bring your enthusiasm and your love for the season of new beginnings. Whether you’re an experienced embroiderer or a complete beginner, this workshop will leave you with a beautiful piece of art and a deeper appreciation for the beauty of Beltaine.
