Ballydougan Pottery Courtyard Cottage – Bramley Apple Cottage

Welcome to “Bramley Apple Cottage”, “Wheat Loft Apartment”, “Gaskins Grove” and “Potters Cottage”, wonderful self-catering holiday cottages within the enclosed courtyard at Ballydougan Pottery.

Originally fine old listed stone barns (circa 1785), each has been carefully converted into modern comfortable holiday accommodation. Each cottage is bright and spacious with a living room/kitchen. Bedrooms are furnished in a traditional style with fine oak beds, wardrobes and dressing tables complementing the white bed linen. Bathroom complete with WC, bath (exception of Gaskins Grove – disabled access and walk in shower) and over bath shower, and shaver point also offer a hairdryer and white fluffy towels.

Bramley Apple Cottage – Ground Floor Only: Open plan kitchen and living room. Double bedroom. Bathroom. Three steps down to twin bedroom.

Cottages are open all year round.

While staying at Ballydougan why not take some time to meander around the Gift Shop or sit in the courtyard garden and enjoy a freshly made cappuccino from the Thatch Restaurant & Coffee Shop.

The Loft Cottage

The Loft Self Catering Cottage is ideal for the business and holiday traveller alike. A detached cottage off circa 1,800 square feet over two storeys are set in its own private grounds and gardens, with secure on-site parking for six cars.

Located one mile from the town of Banbridge at 15 Ballykeel Road, Ballykeel, Banbridge, Co Down, the tranquil and peaceful surroundings offer spectactular panoramic views if the rolling countryside and the Moutains of Mourne, ensuring a stress-free, relaxing break where you can unwind while still only twenty-five minutes drive from the bustle of Belfast.

In 2012 under the guidance of owners Oonagh and John O’Neill, The Loft was sympathetically converted from barns dating back over 256 years. Lovingly restored, great attention was paid to retaining the original stonework and the end result is two cottages with exceptional character and old world charm, both featuring many period items.

New internet televisions with free WiFi on site.

Three double bedrooms all en-suite are futher complimented by traditional features such as pine floors, wood burning stove.
