We are celebrating the contemporary Irish painter Ronnie Hughes, creating a dynamic mixed media abstract artwork inspired by Hughes’s use of colours and shapes. We will be creating patterns by working in layers, exploring masked and unmasked. 

We will create our piece on a panel canvas using coloured masking tape/washi tape, masking tape and acrylic paint. This workshop will provide lots of opportunity for creating unique designs that you can frame and place on your bedroom wall.

Join us for a fun and festive evening with a Gonk and Plonk Christmas Painting workshop! During this paint and sip workshop, local artist Michelle Wilson will guide you through the steps to paint your own unique Christmas Gonk on canvas. This workshop is guaranteed to get you into the festive spirit while enjoying a few drinks in a fun and relaxed environment. Bring a friend or family member and let the Christmas celebrations begin!

Drinks and materials will be provided, bring along an apron or an old shirt and lots of enthusiasm.
