Dog Friendly Screening: 101 Dalmatians

Saturday 15 March | 11am | £5 (Furry Friends Free)

Dir: Stephen Herek | 1996 | 99 Mins | Certificate U

Roger (Jeff Daniels) and Anita (Joely Richardson) meet and fall in love whilst out walking their dogs, Pongo and Perdy.

They are married, and their hounds also prove compatible, producing a litter of fifteen black and white puppies. However, Anita’s boss, fashion designer Cruella DeVil (Glenn Close), wants to turn the puppies into a coat. To this end she sends her henchmen Jasper (Hugh Laurie) and Horace (Mark Williams) to kidnap the tiny canines.

Please note:

There are a limited number of dogs that we can facilitate, and we can only permit one dog per adult attending.

We will provide bowls of water, blankets to cover seats or for lying on the floor.

We request that dogs remain on leads throughout the duration of the film – feel free to bring them outside at any point.

Please bring any toys that may make your dog more comfortable, and we kindly ask that owners clean up after their dogs if they create a mess, with the cleaning products provided.

This event will take place in our studio theatre with an unreserved, cabaret-style seating layout.

Please note that the sound levels for the film will be lowered to allow for our canine audience!

Dementia Friendly Film Screening: The Odd Couple

Thursday 23 January | 11am | £5 (includes tea/coffee & biscuits)

Dir: Gene Saks | 1968 101 Mins | Certificate PG

Neil Simon’s classic stage comedy made an effortless transition to the big screen in 1967, when ‘The Odd Couple’ provided Jack Lemmon and Walter Matthau with a tailor-made mid-career affirmation of their status as two of cinema’s greatest funny men.

Lemmon is Felix, manically obsessed with cleanliness and housekeeping, struggling to understand why his wife wants a divorce. Matthau is Oscar, his slovenly poker-playing buddy who invites him to take the spare room and lives to regret it as they rapidly and comically come to grief like an old, totally incompatible, married couple!

Our dementia friendly screenings are open to all, but have been tailored with care, attention and insight, to be accessible for people living with dementia.

This event will take place in our studio theatre with an unreserved, cabaret-style seating layout.
